Ethnic Marketing Solutions Advances Women’s Options
Hartford, CT -- April 15, 2010 – Ethnic Marketing Solutions, Inc. a Hartford, Connecticut based multicultural marketing agency, announced today the launching of its seventh Latinas & Power Symposium taking place on Thursday, May 13th, from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM at the Hilton Hartford Hotel, 315 Trumbull Street, Hartford, Connecticut.
“The business environment has catapulted many women into positions of leadership and Latinas are finding their way up that ladder as well,” stated Ms. Marilyn Alverio, principal of Ethnic Marketing Solutions and producer of the event. She continued by saying: “At the Latinas & Power Symposium, we create a platform for women to witness leadership in action via the top-notch speakers and panelists we bring. Indeed the Seventh Annual Latinas & Power Symposium will be a showcase of Latinas who have excelled – not only within their community – but in mainstream markets nationwide. On top of the list of speakers is Ms. Yasmin Davidds, an international best-selling author and empowerment specialist whose philosophy embraces teaching people from all walks of life on how to live empowering lives.
During our closing reception, we will honor Latina legends. In recognition of her many contributions as a role model, as an actor, and as a woman in the forefront of many vital issues, Academy Award Winner, Ms. Rita Moreno will be honored via satellite. Another honoree will be Ms. Esmeralda Santiago, renowned author in both English and Spanish who will soon launch her next book, Conquistadora, along with a mini-series based on the story.
